You can register to vote or update your registration completely online if you have an Oregon driver’s license.

If you don’t have an Oregon license or ID, you may still fill out a form online that can be printed and mailed in.

Visit the Secretary of State website to register for the first time or to update your registration.

Remember, Oregon votes by mail. It is important that you update your registration as soon as you move – ballots cannot be forwarded.

We also encourage you to register as a Democrat. It helps our efforts knowing how many Dems there are out there.

Also, be aware the choice on party affiliation for “Independent” refers to a third party – the Independent Party of Oregon – which often houses Republicans. It does not mean you are politically independent. If you prefer to remain non-affiliated simply do not choose a party (though we encourage you to choose us).

Be aware that there is a deadline to register 21 days ahead of an election. If you are near the deadline, drop off your registration or updated info in person at the nearest county clerk’s office to be sure it gets processed in time. In Deschutes County, that is the County Services Building in Bend at 1300 NW Wall Street, Suite 202.
