Pro-tip: Turning in your ballot sooner helps our candidates save money and resources.
Campaigns can see whether your ballot has been turned in already (but not how you voted, of course!). If your ballot is turned in early, then that’s one less door for a campaign to visit, one less phone call to make.
Time is the most precious resource for any political campaign. If you can save your favorite candidate some time, that’s a huge help!
Ballots cannot be mailed after May 14th
Find a drop box instead!
Ballots must be received by 8pm on May 21st. Postmarks do NOT count!
Because of the mail situation in Deschutes County (it goes to Portland to be sorted, even if just going across town) you cannot count on the mail to deliver your ballot on time after May 14th.
Drop boxes are more exciting anyway! Do you miss voting booths? Drop boxes are the next best thing!
Meet the candidates & volunteer
Look for opportunities to meet the candidates and help us get the vote out on our events page.
Board members serve 4-year terms. Candidates must reside in the zone that they are running for, but all voters districtwide choose a board member for each zone regardless of which zone the voter lives in.
